Ukrainian govt wants sanctions against 13 Russian airlines

KIEV, Jan 27 (PRIME) -- The Ukrainian government has suggested that the National Security Council should introduce sanctions against 13 Russian airlines, according to information seen by PRIME on Wednesday.

"To approve and submit in a month for consideration of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine a proposal concerning application of individual, special, economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) against legal entities that breach Ukraine’s air space by carrying flights in the prohibited zone of the occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol for three years," the authority said.

The list of companies includes: Krasavia, Komiaviatrans, Azimuth, Iraero, Aviaservice Aero, Tulpar Air, Aerolimousine, flying squad 223 of the Defense Ministry of Russia, Pobeda, Aviation Technologies Investment Service, State Corporation for Organization of Air Traffic in the Russian Federation and Simargl Air Company.
